Black Widow
Written by Melody Rose Hartman
staring out a french door window
as i admire that old black widow
a lyrical violin on her back
when she's done with her man she kills him such a sweet attack, it is
i see sun spots in my mind
the beautiful sun how it can blind
oh and i see the storm coming on
she hangs on to her web so strong
cause that's her home it's all she has
cause she forgot about that violin on her back
the wind picks up and the rain comes
mother nature what have you done
i watch her hold on to her masterpeice she just can't let go
but you cant stop that wind when it wants to blow
just tumble down down down
the world spins around and round
aint no stopping it at all
but are you really gonna let yourself fall
oh and i see the storm coming on
she hangs on to her web so strong
cause that's her home it's all she has
cause she forgot about that violin on her back
but darling don't you forget about that
violin rested on your back
waiting on you
to just do what you do
don't, please don't live in black and white
try to find a way to see the light
there's gotta be a damn silver lining in that cloud
and that sun, i'm telling you he's gotta come back out
oh i see the sun coming on
she builds her web back up strong
that's her home but it's not all she has
as long as she remembers that violin on her back
